Things you will need..

  1. Create a New folder on your Desktop and name it the same as the .app you are using
  2. Create a New folder called Applications ( this is where the .app will go)
  3. Paste the .app folder in Applications folder you just created above. ( note .app folders are located at  /Applications
  4. Now go back to the  folder you created in step 1 and create a New folder called DEBIAN
  5. Open Folder Options and UNCHECK Hide extensions for known file types
  6. Open the DEBIAN folder, right click and make a new text document name it  contol and remove the .txt part from the end.

Open the control file with Notepad or Wordpad, Copy the text below and fill it

Package: com.YourName.YourPackage

Name: YourPackageName

Version: 1.0

Architecture: iphoneos-arm

Description: Description of your package

Homepage: http://YourWebsite.com

Maintainer: YourUsername

Author: YourName < YourEmail >

Section: Section

Conflicts: com.conflicing.package

Depends: com.depending.package, firmware(>=1.0)

8.Now Copy the folder you created in Step 1 to /private/var/root in your iphone

Open Terminal and type        dpkg -b  nameoffolder

  9. If you come across any errors during the creation just open ifunbox and change the permissions of the contol file to 0755.

SOOOOOOOOOOO after all this is done your new .deb package will be located in /private/var/root.

And there ya go! Now you can make your own .debs!
