If you own an iPhone 2G or 3G or even a older iPod Touch then you definately know about the low amount of Ram (Random Access Memory) they come with.

Then add that to the fact they have slower processors than the current generation devices and you have a recipe for a slow iDevice.

BUT thanks to the guys over at Whited00r.com there is now a blazing fast firmware for these devices called Whited00r 5.1. 

  1. Download the firmware from the whited00r website
  2. Jailbreak your iphone/ipod using one of our tutorials (skip if its already jailbroken)
  3. Using itunes, click on your iDevice and hit SHIFT and click restore
  4. Navigate iTunes to the location of the whited00r ipsw
  5. Let it restore and BAM! Now you will see faster speeds and...
  6. iOS 5 FEATURES ON OLDER DEVICES!!!

I know! Its because they have special hardware thats not in all the other ones, I think its stupid tho
